Wide shoe help!

Hi ladies,

I want to order my shoes in the next few months--my dress length is made to order so I need to have my shoes before ordering it.

I want a pair of fun chic shoes--preferably purple--in a wide width and about 3.5 inch heel. To make matters worse I wear a size 5.5 shoe.

Does anyone have any suggestions for places to get wide width shoes without custom ordering?

I second Zappos.com.  They let you narrow down what you are looking for by style, color, size, width and heel size.  Then it shows you only the shoes that fit your feet!  Oh, and Zappos has free returns (they give you a label to send them back and everything if they don't fit, and you have up to a year to return them).  Love Zappos!!!

I've been checking Zappos, DSW, 6PM and Piperlime for a few montgs, but the selections in wide shoes are ... lackluster! :-(
