Hello - This may be a long shot, but I didn't have any luck looking around on the web, so I thought someone might have some advice!
My FI and I were invited to a wedding this December in Scotland. It is my (American) cousin and her Scottish FI. I'm wondering if anyone has advice about what to wear, especially for my FI. The ceremony is in a church, 4pm, and the reception is at a hotel, 7pm. Probably very traditional ceremony & reception. My cousin sent a mass email with links for "hiring" (renting) kilts - is this necessary? Do Scottish men always wear kilts in this situation, and what about American men? Would a regular suit be out of place?
