Steam dress/veil

Hi!

Does anyone know the process for getting your wedding dress and veil steamed prior to the big day? Is it something you ask your alterations salon to do?

My dress was steamed by a professional dry cleaner that specializes in wedding gowns.  My veil was hung in the bathroom for two days while I showered so the steam released the wrinkles.

Mine was steamed from the place I bought it from.  They also did the alterations, so you might want to ask whoever is doing your alterations if they would be able to do that for you.

Mine was steamed at a dry cleaner as well and than I just hung it in a room. I had it done the day before the wedding.
