I'm going to go buy my dress on Sunday. I've got it narrowed down to about 5 (LOL), but I'm making my decision on Sunday.. The problem is, I feel like it's too early. I'm getting married in October and I still need to lose a siginificant ammount of weight. I'm eating right and working out and the weight is coming off, but I'm feeling pressured to buy the dress now. I'm buying it at David's Bridal so it's not like it's a custom shop, but everyone keeps telling me I need to do it now because of how long it can take to come in and then how long alterations can take... but the same dresses on David's Bridal's website take 7 to 10 days to come in... and if I wait till I'm a smaller size, I won't have to have as many alterations to the dress. My current plan (and I know this is a no-no), is to order it one size too small (I'm a size 16),. I feel 150% confident that I will at least be one size smaller and then if I lose 2 sizes it won't be that huge of a deal to alter it down that next size.... though if one of my friends said they were doing this I'd scold her... aggggh - I don't know what to do- thoghts? opinions?
