Wedding Band help needed

My engagement ring is a princess cut solitare. The square setting part extends down to the base of my ring, so that a regular wedding band would not lay flat against my engagement ring. I'm looking for a band that extends around the square base of the setting minimally, so that it looks like a regular ring rather than one that is bent to fit around a setting. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Re: Wedding Band help needed

  • Can you post a pic of your ring so we can get a better idea?
  • I have a princess cut solitaire and had to get a band from the jewelers from which the e-ring came.
Have you specifically gone to your e-ring jewelery store to see what they have to offer? that's going to be your best bet.
  • I have one too and tried different bands but they didn't lay right. Finally I went with the matching band because it fit perfectly. Firsttimersluck is right... Maybe the original jeweler can help. Good luck!

  • My e-ring is a princess cut with a halo around it... my wedding band is kind of shaped like \__/ and it fits around the halo. It's not super tight, but once I have it soldered it will be ok. This is similar to my band, but mine is a little more angled, the round diamonds at the bottom sit right against the bottom of the halo.  http://www.jared.com/en/jaredstore/engagement---wedding/14k-white-gold-1-6-carat-tw-diamond-ring-531284800--1/100222/100222.100223.100227
Check out what I have left for sale...

<div>We just purchased our wedding bands today, and mine is very similar to this in that it curves around the e-ring. Both of my rings were purchased from the same store, but the e-ring is a Tolkowsky, and they don't have curved Tolkowsky wedding bands, so I had to get a different "brand." I'm glad I tried them on together because the one I chose out of a catalog looked horrible when the two were put together. </div>
  • I had the same problem with my ering, I changed my band but only because the band was too skinny for my liking. I went to Jared for the new band, and they were also able to create a custom band to fit my new ring, and it wasn't insanely expensive either!! I got a pave set gaurd that makes a halo at the top around my solitaire and am paying like 750$ with taxes and warranties!! I don't know if many jewlery offer something like that I searched high and low for a wedding band and ony Jared offered me a custom band to get exactaly what I wanted!!!
