Question: Black and Ivory?

My future mother-in-law offered her black pearls to wear for the wedding.  My wedding colors are black and white but my dress is ivory.  Will the ivory dress and the black pearls clash or not?  I can't seem to decide.

We're doing black and white as our main colors....linens are white, cake fondant is ivory, flowers are white/cream, guys shirts will be ivory, and my dress is oyster which looks like a dark ivory. It won't matter and will look fine!
