Hose or no hose?

I know nothing about hose, zip zero nada! For the ceremony and pictures I'll be in peep toe heels, which I have been wearing without hose around the house and my feet sweat a little bit. With hose I don't think that'd happen as much. However, I plan on dancing the night away and I'm unsure if my feet will be able to handle my heels for that long. So I planned to change into flip flops. Now so I wear hose to feel more comfortable in my heels and then take them off? Do I just suck it up and not wear hose at all so I won't have to attempt to rip hose off? HELP!!!!!!!

I would do no hose, for two reasons - 1) I don't like the look of them with peep/open toe shoes and 2) I find them uncomfortable, especially for long periods fo time

No hose. You can put some corn starch or baby powder on your feet to keep the sweating down.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I agree with PP, no hose. You can also use a spray anti-perspirant (secret makes one) on your feet to help.

I have some but can't remember the name brand think I got it a Walgreens

  • Hoses are outdated, imo.  Also, my mother's favorite wedding snafu story was having her limo pull over on the way to the church to buy an emergency pair of pantyhose at a gas station because her engagement ring put a run in the pair she was wearing.  Apparently this was harrowing enough to make her snap at her mother, which mortifies her to this day.

Moral of the story?  One less thing to worry about.
