Mori Lee Bridesmaid color

Hi knotties-

So my maids and I chose a beautiful Mori Lee dress. (We were told it's style 655). We tried it on in wine - It's one shoulder, long, and had a silver beading detail on the shoulder and down the back of the strap. We ordered it in charcoal, and two of this girls paid for their dresses to secure the order. Well, two of my ladies couldn't make the shopping trip so we looked up the dress online to show them. We didn't think the one they tried on and the one online was the same dress! The one online is black and has a sheer top and black beading on the shoulder. 

Has anyone ordered this dress and can shed some light on what it's going to look like when we get it? The people at the store aren't helpful. I can add photos if it would be helpful.

Do you have a pic of your maids in the dress and maybe provide a link to the dress online so we can compare?

The top in the one we tried on was NOT at all sheer and the beads all matched. Mori Lee does not have a contact person on their website and their Facebook page refers everyone to the local retailers (who were not helpful.)

They look like the same style to me...maybe it's a difference that comes with what color your order? (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm pretty sure they're the same dress. The bridal salon may have requested to have the sheer-ness covered up through the designer because it fit into their sales demographic? Or maybe it has to do with what color you order?

I think that it would be beautiful both WITH and WITHOUT the sheer top part. Unless you have a huge issue with the sheer top piece I say order it and see what happens.

Thanks, I think it's pretty, too. 

I hope it's not sheer on top - I don't care for that look and it's not the dress the salon showed me. And I'm too type A to not know. 

Has anyone ordered that dress in a color other than wine?

Really your bridal salon that you ordered the dresses from SHOULD be able to find this information out for you. If they are unwilling to do that something is off. They should be more than willing to accomodate you since you have a particular style in mind.

I felt like the salon had made the sale and had a "it's too late to change it" attitude when I called when they opened the very next morning. I can't find a contact for anyone at Mori Lee, either.
