Hi! I'm fairly new to the boards!!

How long have you and FI been together? We have been together for about 6 1/2 years  How long have you been engaged? We have been engaged for about a year and a half

Where did FI propose? My FI proposed in Boston on Comm Ave, where we first met

Have you set a date yet? Our date is set for 11/11/11

Where are you getting married? We will be getting married at The Castleton in Windham NH

What is an interesting fact about you and FI? I don't know how interesting of a fact this is but we both LOVE  movies (he has his degree in film), especially renting straight to DVD horror movies because they are awful! We end up laughing the whole time.

How long have you and FI been together?  Almost 10 years!  How long have you been engaged? Just over a year.

Where did FI propose?  During a camping trip by the fire.

Have you set a date yet?  Yes!!  10.10.10!!!!!!!

Where are you getting married?  At my parents house in Maine!  Right on the water!
What is an interesting fact about you and FI?  We are slightly obsessed with old antique lanterns.

Where did FI propose?  Boston, at a restaurant before going to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra

Have you set a date yet?  7/17/10 and boy is it coming fast!

Where are you getting married?  Alvirne Chapel & Fratello's

What is an interesting fact about you and FI?  We first met when I was in eighth grade at church because our parents play in the folk group there.  The more interesting part is that is how FI's parents met.  At the same church, through the folk group.

How long have you and FI been together?

We have been together as a couple just shy of a year, however we have known one another for almost ten years.
 
How long have you been engaged?

We have been engaged since Christmas Eve 2009.

Where did FI propose?

He proposed at our favorite restaurant, where we first began our romance.  We are regulars there and it's such a fun place to be, especially now thinking back to his proposal.

Have you set a date yet?

We are negotiating the date at this time.

Where are you getting married?

We are both NH natives.  He Northern, me Southern.  We intend to be married locally, just looking for the right location.  Story Land is a huge possibility.  (don't laugh!)

What is an interesting fact about you and FI?

Well, we met ages ago when we both were on the same fire department, never realizing a connection.  Once we both figured it out it was like a bolt of lightening struck and we have spent every day together since.  It's like our own fairy tale.
Oh yeah and we are like a modern version of the Brady Bunch!

How long have you and FI been together?
Oh gosh, almost 5 years now... time flies! 

How long have you been engaged?
Since March 7, 2010

Where did FI propose?
We were on a 7 day carribean cruise and on the first night standing outside on our balcony he got down on one knee!!! It happeend so fast and I was so happy!!!

Have you set a date yet?
July 30, 2011 (praying for not too hot, not too humid weather!)

Where are you getting married?
Ceremony - TBD - probably Hollis Congregational Church or Dunstable Congregational Church
Reception - Sky Meadow Country Club

What is an interesting fact about you and FI?
We're really taking this marriage seriously.  There have been so many failed marriages in both our families that we've vowed that we're both in this for the good and bad.  We're talking out what our finances are now and will be once we're married (it seems like money is one of the top reasons couples fight and marriages end)

How long have you and FI been together? Just over 4 years
 

How long have you been engaged? A year and four months...we're getting married exactly 1.5 yrs after he proposed

Where did FI propose? Sunset horse drawn sleigh ride at Charmingfare Farm

Have you set a date yet? Yep, 7/18/10

Where are you getting married? on Cape Cod...getting married at a windmill over looking the water and reception at a waterfront inn 

What is an interesting fact about you and FI? We had the most extenuating circumstances working with us so we would meet each other. We are in the same profession, from opposite parts of the Country, and he went to work for a school that wasn't his #1 choice, and I got a work assignment that I wasn't expecting, and because of those things we had the opportunity to meet each other at a professional meet and greet.

I need to make a confession too. I'm not on here enough to know what all the different abbreviations mean!! HA! If anyone wants to give me a tutorial I would appreciate it!
