Has anyone ever bought a dress on Etsy?

We're having a difficult time finding a bridesmaid's dress for my one bridesmaid who will be trying to get pregnant before our wedding.  We want something that she could potentially be a few months pregnant (so nothing super tight in the tummy), something good for a large chest (needs to be able to wear a bra), and something long in gray.  Our budget is $200.  I found some great options on Etsy, but buying a dress sight unseen makes me nervous.  Has anyone bought clothes on Etsy before?

I haven't received the dress yet (only purchased it last week), but the seller got my measurements, and I'm basically looking at it as a bespoke dress, just like if I went to a seamstress and had it made. I'm nervous, but with all the seller's positive feedback and her helpfulness in answering all my questions, I think it's a safe bet. Good luck!

Most of Etsy are chinese copy sites, I would be careful.

Depends on what you're looking for. Etsy is supposed to be vintage and handmade only. The dress I bought is a handmade original pattern by an experienced independent seamstress. I suppose if you found someone selling designer dresses for cheap, they would be knockoffs.
