Grey Dresses Yellow Shoes OR Yellow Dresses Grey Shoes?

Our wedding is March 23 and I am going with 3 out of 5 BM's in the morning so they can try on BM's dresses. I still can't figure out which combo will look the best!

I would say yellow dress with grey shoes, as long as yellow looks good on all of your bridesmaids.

Unlike the PP I'd say gray dress with yellow shoes! Yellow is a tricky color for some girls, and it always looks fabulous as an accent! Just my opinion though

I ditto the grey dresses with yellow shoes. Yellow doesn't look good on very many people and, personally, I dislike the color yellow even if it does look good on me. Not very many people favor that color, I've found...

Grey looks good on almost anyone because it is a neutral. Plus, I think you would have more fun with a grey dress as a background because you can play with yellow flowers for their bouquets and fun jewelry. Yellow dresses and yellow flowers might look like too much, and the grey shoes would look like they don't belong.

Have the BM's try on yellow and gray and you can all decide which you prefer.

Because it is March, I'd say grey with yellow shoes. It will be a great way to bring in a hint of spring. Good luck and please post pics if you find the dress... Id love to see how it all worked out.

I think charcoal grey dresses with yellow shoes and flowers would work well....

If you're requiring yellow shoes, please pay for them.  As a bridesmaid, I'd be pretty unhappy with having to spend my own money on yellow shoes (it's not my color at all, and I'd never, ever, ever wear them again).

What about gray dresses with nude shoes, and yellow accents (flower, sash, hairpiece, maybe)?  Nude shoes are something people are more likely to already own, or at least less likely to be annoyed about having to buy, since they're a basic wardrobe staple.

Yellow dresses with grey shoes. And maybe even a grey sash to tie it all together or large pieces of grey statement jewelry. I'm afraid with the grey dresses there will be too much of a "gloomy" color for the cheery occasion. Yellow if definitely a high energy and positive color.
