Did you wear your underwear over or under your Spanx, and how did you pee in your dress with Spanx on?

I did not have to wear Spanx in my dress because the skirt was so full, you couldn't see any tummy anyhow! But I have worn Spanx under other cocktail dresses and what not. I have never worn underwear with Spanx--rather I wear it in place of regular underwear.

How to go to the bathroom? Just pull the spanx down. I feel like I'm not understanding your question.

Hmm I'm not sure; I haven't worn spanx like that. But I agree with PP that you will probably need help with your dress while peeing. My mom and MOH helped me. It's not glamorous, but most brides require help for going to the bathroom in their dress! Ask someone you are very close to and feel OK about doing that for you.

I have the same spanx.  First, don't buy the knockoff brand.  Many of those don't have the "pee hole".  Spanx are seperated at the crotch so you can move it aside to pee. 

This is probably going to be WAY too much ifnoramtion...  but, here you go...  I will say, peeing in spanx takes practice.   The hole isn't huge, and the first time I tried to do it, I peed all over the damn spanx !!   Took them off, washed them, washed myself, and tried again a few hours later.  After a few tries over a few days I got it down to a science.    You have to sort of lean forward and spread your legs wide to make sure the pee flows in the right direction.

Doing some practice runs at home where I knew I could clean up if there was an accident was much better than trying to take those darn things off every time I have to pee !

Haha!! I've been there!  I have the Spanx w/ the hole, too. It's almost impossible to use it w/out getting your Spanx wet.<em>  </em>I plan to either:
a. Cut the hole bigger on the big day
b. Honestly might bring my "Go Girl" funnel that is used for camping. It's literally a small rubber funnel for girls to use while peeing to "aim" and not get your clothes, etc., wet.

I have Spanx with the hole, I usually wear a small, easily pushed to the side thong with them. It does take practice and I found that the hole stretches out over time to make it easier, so wear them around to break them in.

You should probably get comfortable with the fact that you are going to have to have a friend help you pee.  Someone can be in the bathroom and sort of pull your dress up and hold it up for you while you handle your business.   You are probably not going to be able to hold your dress up, and push your spanx aside and wipe yourself, etc. all by yourself.
