camouflage vast

so my fiance is set on wearing a camouflage vest with balck tux ,which I'm ok with but my problem is .... What color can we go with that is not going to clash??

I'm not exactly camo savvy, but I believe there are different color schemes for camo, right?  Perhaps you can think of what colors you want first, and then try to find a camo print/color that will suit those best? 

If he has a specific camo in mind, maybe you could post it so we could give ideas?  In general though, camos are mostly neutral, so you shouldn't have too much trouble building colors from it.

Just offhand, I would say grey, green, or brown.  Or black.

Not sure if it helps, but my fiance wants camo as well. I decided that rather try to fit the whole wedding to match with camo, the men are just going to be a little different. My colors are brown/teal so i think it works ok.

I would just use browns and greens. Most camos contain those colors unless he wants winter camo. I have seen weddings where the groom wears winter came and the groomsmen wear the mossy oak/realtree camo. Bridesmaids wore forest green or brown dresses. Looked pretty cool!

Safety orange? I kid! Camo is usually the definition of neutral, depending on which pattern/color you pick, so I'd just go from there.

this is the vest he likes.  I was hoping for something a little brighter than the greens or browns.  What do you'all think?  Do I have any hope for something with color?  Doesn't have to be anything bright.

I would use a rich brown and gray with that vest and tie in a livelier colour as well. I'm glad you posted a pic. There are so many different camo's available. This mossy oak is a favourite of mine as well.

when is your wedding?  my fi is wearing the same vest this fall.  I am using very neutral colors (mainly black and green) but am brightening it up with the flowers.  Hopefully it looks nice.  Maybe you could do the same and brighten yours up with seasonal, colorful flowers.

Beginning of June.  If we did a fall wedding, then I would do a dark blue. So, late spring/early summer.... maybe a gray or brown and light pink?  what do you think???

i have seen pink used a lot with the camo.  i could see a brown and pink color scheme.  i know my fi really liked the black shirt under the vest...made it look almost classy...if you did a black shirt with it, i could see more of a gray and pink, but with a white shirt, i would probably choose brown.  either way would look nice.

My fi and I are trying to figure out the same thing...I've always wanted a red wedding tho. Do you think red and camo will look nice??
