Dresses from china?

My fsil is getting bridesmaids dresses made in china to look just like the ones in the alfred angela catalog.  I think she is going to get ripped of.  Does any1 no about these kind of places in china that do the designer knock ofs?

Generally they use cheap materials and don't look anything like the original. I'm not sure how much alfred angelo bm dresses are to begin with, or how much she saved, but there are plenty of legitimate websites that sell them a lot cheaper - netbride, rkbridal, pearl's place. Taking a chance on a dress that may or may not be ok wasn't worth it to me.

It's pretty much a total gamble, though I've heard complete success stories and also complete horror ones.

I've made dresses in China and Vietnam before, but was there to choose the fabric and upon pick up, I was able to inspect and have them make changes to my specifications.
