Color of bridesmaids/flower girls dresses with RUBY RED wedding gown??

I'm in my brothers wedding in October and his fiancee has chosen a ruby red wedding gown. It's beautiful!! We absolutely love it! Queston is, what color bridesmaid dress would go with this? She was thinking a light pink since the bottom of the gown is a "pull up" style and it is light pink beading. I think this may work but wanted to see what other people thought. Also, would you go with light pink for the flower girls as well?

    A really pale pink would look nice.  Otherwise what about silver or a charcoal color?  That would be really sleek and modern, especially next to a bride in a ruby red gown.  If you want color though, I think orange looks really nice with red.

    gold looks nice with red.  pink would work...then you could stick to different variations of the same color...

    How about white or ivory bridesmaid dresses? And you could carry red flowers or have red shoes or something.
