J Crew BM dresses sizing

I'm in a wedding next year, and J Crew is currently having a massive sale on the dresses. Since we can't return them, I want to make sure and get the sizing right. I am a street size and J Crew size 4, but my wedding dress and a BM dress last year was a 6.

Does anyone know if they fit more like a BM dress or a normal J Crew dress?

I'm going to take my measurements tonight, just wanted to know what everyone's experiences were.

More like bridal. Plus, I would err on ordering it too big and being able to take it in rather than the opposite.

My girls got their dresses at Jcrew & I went with all of them and they were pretty true to size. One of my BM was pregnant and they were able to help her order the right size over the phone. The people on the phone are pretty good. It might also depend on the fabric of the dress. Do you have a jcrew bridal boutique near you? If you are unsure or are expecting a weight change, order the 4 and then 1 above or below to be sure. If you call and explain the situation, they might let you return the one you dont need. They're pretty good about that kind of stuff.

I would just return it, except it's super duper clearance and no returns. It's a $250 dress I'm getting for $70.

My BMs are from there, I would say they run a little large on top and pretty true on the bottom. Both of mine ordered by their waist size and have had to take it up in the top/shoulder area.
