So this is my first post on this board here, but I'm hoping you ladies can help.

Well sadly the only issue with the dress is that I'm 2 inches to short for it. And with it being lace, I really am not wanting to alter it. I'm very scared of the whole work that would be involved in altering this dress.
So my questions, do I try and hunt down platform shoes to go with the dress? Or do I get one of those slip things like David's Bridal sells? Will that help?
Or do I suck it up and hope that I can find a fantastic seamstress that can do the work of altering and untacking all the lace and put it back together?
