Is it OK to wear my wedding shoes to my bachelorette party?

I just purchased my wedding shoes - red peep-toe slingback heels. I am wondering if it is acceptable to wear them first to my bachelorette party. I think it might be a good opportunity to break them in and just to wear them because they're cute!

  • I agree, get the most out of those bad boys because chances are no one will really see them under your wedding dress so show them off and break them in at the party!

  • I was just checking...I didn't know if there was some wedding ritual/tradition I wasn't aware of that deemed it inappropriate. Thanks for your answers!
  • I say go for it!

<div>I would be concerned with scuffs and such, but it shouldnt be as much of a problem with red shoes.</div>

    Sure. Why not?
  • They're cute shoes.  So...yes.

  • I thought about doing this, but then I got too worried about scuffs and scrapes. My shoes are navy, but I'm paranoid! If you are extra careful, I say go for it!

  • What happens if someone spills beer on your shoes? Or you trip after a few cocktails and possible scuff/damage them? If you are okay with this possibly happening...then go for it! If you'd be devastated...then maybe you should get different shoes for the bachelorette party. I'd be devastated if my shoes got ruined...

  •  I would just say either be cautious so you don't get booze/ stains/ scuffs (or worse).  Otherwise, definitely break them in.
