Can you ask a bridal salon to...?

So I found a dress I absolutely love online, but I've called every single salon in FL that carries the designer and not a single salon has this dress. Is it okay to ask the salon to order you a sample gown? How would this work? Does it cost anything? How do I go about asking?? Approx. how long would it take to get the sample dress in?

THANKS! :)

  • I believe when I was in this situation, my bridal consultant said it would be about $75-100 to order and that I would pay for dry cleaning of the dress. I think she said it took about 6 weeks to get there.

I wasn't crazy about the picture of the dress so I didn't do it. It's worth checking into though! Good luck!

  • Yes you can!  It's exactly how I got my wedding dress.  I found the dress I loved online too and I called a local bridal salon who carried the designer.  I brought in a picture of the dress, they took my measurements and ordered a sample gown for me to try on.  They didn't charge me extra to order the sample.
