Re: nm

  • Not at all. This will sound counterintuitive, but try getting a sash to go around your waist. It will make your waist look smaller. Try something maybe one or two shades darker (ivory?) with a minimal amount of embellishments.

  • Agree with the post above
  • I think it is quite flattering from what you have posted. Fully agree with PP

  • I like it but would probably add a sash. Not because your tummy looks big at all (it doesn't), but I just think that dress would look really pretty with a sash added. Plus I just like sashes :)

  • I think you're subconciously looking for something nonexistant to worry about this point so the overall wedding doesn't overwhelm you :P

  • Not only is it beautiful, but it is just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing1
  • You look good in the dress. I don't see your stomach at all.

  • What stomach?
  • Are you serious?
  • I think your dress looks amazing on you!  I'm not sure about adding a sash.  I'm wondering if it might visually divide you in two and break up the beautiful line of your dress.

The only problem I have with your belly is that I have yet to find it ... ok my envy would be issue # 2.    (Yup I'm gonna have to spanx, girdle, duct tape and not breather so I'm very jealous)   Cry
  • Omg what belly?? Your figure looks amazing and the dress is stunning... Who is the designer?
  • I think you look great from the pictures you posted! Seriously, you shouldn't worry about it.

I think it would be pretty with a sash. I'm partial to the lace dress + sash look though because that's what I wore.

  • You look gorgeous in that dress!

  • You look simply wonderful. And I'm not sure why she things spanx will make you look wider...I've never had that problem since the whole theory behind spanx is to suck you in...

I also agree with the sash idea. It will help to break up the dress and emphasize the smallest part of your waist.

You look beautiful in the dress. I dont see a belly whatsoever. I do think it needs a sparkly belt though.

  • I think you look lovely and you belly looks flat. A sash would be cute, if you want to add it, but you don't need to. :)

  • You have no belly . We tend to be very hard on ourself.

  • It looks beautiful... no belly in sight!
  • I've got the SAME issue.  Trust the sash people.

Also, spending time obsessign over sashes on etsy is a great way to direct energy.
  • I call serious BS on the spanx comment. The whole idea is to make you look slimmer and smooth out any lumps and bumps.  Whoever told you that was crazy.

<div>I've talked to several different seamstresses and they all say that spanx are great for smoothing out bumps but they'll actually make your measurements a little bigger. I'm not so worried about my measurements being bigger, though, I'm more worried about looking like I have belly fat.</div>
