Help!

I bought my dress at a sample sale, after only trying it on once.
Now having it here, there are thing I want to do to fix it. My gown is Rhianna Royale by Maggie Sottero.

This is how it currently looks, however I want more of a ball gown pouf on the bottom of it.

Any ideas what kind of a slip I'll need to get it  this full? I just feel like the DB fit-and-flare wouldn't even come close to how I want it.

Re: Help!

  • I agree with PP. If you go to a good alterations place they should be able to add a slip or material to make it "poof" at the bottom. Beautiful dress by the way!

  • As PP have stated your alterations people should be able to help you, but I think a mermaid style slip would help with that look.

  • Thanks ladies!
I am absolutely in love with it!
I honestly didn't even think about my alterations lady. I've got a while to figure it out, I judt didn't know if anyone has had my dress that would know.
    Thanks again!
  • I tried on that dress when I was shopping; it is indeed gorgeous!  Ask your bridal shop if they have a trumpet (or mermaid?) crinoline that you can try on with your dress, to see if it gives you look you want.  I tried one on with my dress, which has a trumpet silhouette.
