For anyone who used or is using Jacques Pastries..

I was just on another board (yes I am bored) and realized that I hadn't even considered getting a cake stand for the wedding cake.  I assumed the pastry shop supplied something.  Anyway, if you are using Jacques, do you know if they do?  If not, where is everyone getting theirs?  I hadn't budgetted for one.

I'm using Jacques and don't have an answer for you, but just assumed it comes on some kind of platform or something that goes on the "cake table".  As I type that I realize it sounds pretty lame, so hopefully someone will give us an answer!

We're using them too, but I never thought to ask. Let us know if you find out!

Typically the venue provides a cake plate/stand. Jacques will probably just bring it on the cardboard they put it together on.

Definitely a question for your venue.

You can rent a cake plateau from them and they will "ice" the cake on it for a much cleaner look.  Otherwise you will get a foil covered thick cardboard which when placed on a plateau from venue (if available) will look a bit off.

As long as it is on something I am good.  I noticed the cardboard covered in tin  on their site and I am not picky.  That would work for me
