Ordering wedding gowns online from China.

Has anyone ordered their wedding gown from China and had really awesome results?? I have gone back and forth between buying a dress here, but they are SO expensive. I'm not exactly an off-the-rack bride, I'm curvy and definitely not model size. Plus, I would prefer something not-so-ordinary. I have seen many sites, and the dresses look beautiful online, and the prices are so reasonable. I'm just hesitant, I've heard good and bad.  Any feedback on this??

And they asked for loads of measurements, and when it came the only alteration needed was the hem since she decided on shorter heels. It took about 3 months total for the process, so its nothing that will happen quickly, but most dress shops want you to order like 8 months in advance.

do you mean she had a good experience with the knock-off shop or one of the recommended online stores like netbrides or pearl's place. just curious. I've been considering this option too.
