Dress and shoes: too much/clashing bling? (PiP)

Here is my dress on the DB model and then on me.:

I'm not sure if you can tell, but it is lace that is completely covered in beading. My wedding is in a tropical garden, so more of a natural feel. But I really like these shoes, which are covered in glitter. Are they overkill?



Or would something like this be better, considering the dress style and garden environment?


I should probably note, my dress was purchased for me by surprise, so I've never tried it on in the store with any style of shoes to gauge.

I do plan to get heel guards, but I've heard they don't always work. I'll be trying them out in a local park before then. And thanks!

I personally like the second pair more, but either would work - wear whatever you want and what you're going to be comfortable in!

I personally don't think there is such think as too much bling so go for it!

If you're going to be walking through a grassy/dirty area the first pair which look more leather-ish might be better than the second pair which look like a satin/fabric type shoe because it would be easier to wipe any dirt off of a leather type material and wear them again.
