Outdoor Wedding - Shoe Advice Please!

Our wedding will be held outdoors. Some of the tables will be set on the grass. I was thinking about buying heels and changed into flats or ballerina shoes, but then thought why not just buy flats and wear those all evening/night. What do you think? Does it matter if the shoes have heels or not? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I agree. Wear what is comfortable... A girl I met had really cute bridal looking thick flip flops on because she and her fiance are the same height.

Flats or wedges for the whole night.  I wore wedges because our ceremony was outdoors and my BMs wore flats or flat sandals.  It's different standing still in grass versus walking to a seat.  At the rehearsal I wore low heels that weren't too thin and kept sinking into the grass.

You want to enjoy your wedding, so find something comfortable AND cute!

They make little things to put on your heels so they won't sink into the grass called SoleMates too!  I wore them for a couple weddings and they were great.

I think a pair of flat shoes are worn comfortably for out wedding as heeled shoes may kill you feet when waling on a little rugged medow.
