Mother of the Bride Dress Color

My daughter's wedding dress is full length white strapless, the girsl are wearing cocktail length green clover(from David's Bridal).  The boys are wearing a khaki colored suit.  What color should the mother of the bride wear?  It was suggested by a bridal boutique that I wear Peony Pink with my coloring to compliment the wedding party.  Is that ok?  Green, Pink and white are flower colors and wedding theme.

Anything that complements the colors of the wedding would be fine. And you can never go wrong with mauves or neutral colors. Good luck

Pink would be beautiful, as would a champagne or other neutral.

If pink goes well with your coloring, that would be very nice, as it also compliments the wedding colors.  A neutral would also be nice.

I think you should wear something that makes you look and feel fantastic!  You don't need to match the BP.

You don't need to match - if you find something you love - go for it, it's nice to coordiate - but lots of colors can coordinate - don't have to be the same as the BP - I think I would stay in the same tones - don't want jewel tones, if everything else is pastels necessarily,-

I think the pink sounds nice, especially if it s a wedding color.  A beige or taupe may be nice too if you want to be a little more subtle.  I would ask your daughter what she thinks, she may want something more neutral.  I have the same wedding colors and my FMIL wants to wear pink, I told her itd be pretty, I want everyone to wear whatever they want.  But I have known brides who like to control every detail, and sometimes like parents to wear more neutral color, so they don't stand out to much in photos.  I'd pick a couple options you like, then ask your daughter what she thinks would be best.
