I have lots of ideas, pages ripped out from magazines, etc and my colors ideas have changed here and there. We've having an April 2012 DW in Hawaii, at a resort, outdoor chapel wedding, indoor ballroom reception.
My dress is ivory. Initially, I was thinking of vibrant yellow or orange for our flowers, but now I'm thinking of all white, with some yellow and pale green accent (hydrangeas, orchids), and green striped lady slipper orchids hopefully. Table linens will probably be white (maybe white chair covers and a sash if it fits in the budget) My FI will be wearing a dark suit.
For BM dresses (hopefully my 2 sisters), I was thinking of grey, or a taupe/khaki. If they ever wear them again, I figure it's easy colors to accessorize. And then perhaps their bouquets could be the vibrant yellow. For the GM.. who knows, but the khaki pants with white shirts seems popular, simple and nice. But if they wear khaki should the BM then be in khaki or would grey be ok? But also if FI is in a dark suit, should they be in something more formal?
So many possibilities! Thanks for your opinions!
So... are my BM dress color thought too neutral for Hawaii wedding, or should I go ahead with one of those two colors and plan to add color with their bouquets? Or do you have other suggestions?
