Okay, so I know this sounds ridiculous, but...

... how do you pronounce Sottero?

As in Maggie Sottero.

I freaking love Maggie dresses, and will definitely be mentioning that to the ladies at the salon when I go to try on dresses soon.

And I don't want them to take me less seriously when I mispronounce Sottero and sound like a moron.

:)

  • Sottero - Sew  (as in a needle pulling thread) - TER (as in the sound from the word TERROR) - oh (as in OH my, I am a bride!)

I am sure that as soon as they hear the word "Maggie" they will know exactly what you are looking for!  Good luck with your gown search!

Im sure people pronounce it a little differently anyways. Just try a stab at it they wont say anything to you maybe correct you but if you say it wrong its not horrible. Maybe bring in a picture of the dress that you like from her with her name on it? That way you wont have to worry about it!

  • Thanks everyone! It turns out I was pronouncing right, but I just wanted to make sure. :)  And Arv - I had thought about just saying "Maggie" too! But figured I might as well get some Knottie help anyway. :)
