Okie dokie, my family HATES my soon to be husband and so are refusing to help with ANYTHING on my side of the wedding costs/arrangements/planning. I am getting married in July and I STILL HAVEN'T EVEN LOOKED FOR THE DRESS. My bridesmaids have dresses and so do our flowergirls and ringbearer has an outfit. My fiance and his men are taken care of as well. However I just put 1100 down on our venue (thankfully included rehersal dinner, ceremony, and reception!) However I'm starting to freak about a gown! I live in San Antonio, Tx and I can't find anything cheap, southern, poofy, and pretty online so I want to actually go into a store. My Maids are all three hrs away in Houston and can't come to my aid. Would it be weird/ bad to go look for a dress by myself? Could I take an idea to a seamstress and have it made for cheaper? Is it bad to bring children with you to look for a dress? HELP!!!!
