My wedding is in under 7 months, and I have a dress which I bought off the rack and it is very big on me (it has a corset back, so it can be tightened, however there is extra fabric at the hips that needs to be taken out, and it needs to be shortened, and they said they are also going to put in a sweetheart neckline in for me). They : the place I bought the dress, and who would do the alterations as well.
I'm concerned with the amount of alterations that are needed. What if I go in a month before the wedding for the alterations like they are telling me to do, and the dress doesn't come out right? Then there won't be much time to fix it.
I want to do it now, lol. This way if it's not perfect, there's time to fix it.. and my weight doesn't fluctuate anyway. I've been the same size for 10 years.
Is it a good idea to go in this early or should I just trust them and wait?
