Alfred Angelo Disney dresses - the Ariel. Anyone have it? or changed it?

I'm totally in love with the Ariel BUT I don't like lace-up backs.  I want buttons!  Has anyone modified their gown?  Maybe I'll make another topic just about modifying in general, but lets talk about the Ariel anyway!

I tried Ariel on.  I suggest calling Alfred Angelo and asking if it could be changed.

I also tried it on, and I'll be honest, I don't think altering it will give it the same effect on the body as the corset does.  But, that's just my opinion...

I work at a bridal store, and it's very difficult to change the corsett back into a zipper or button.  The reason is, that you'll need to go a size up, so that the back closes for you.  I know our store did it one time, and will never do it again.  Good luck!

Alfred Angelo has an option of lace up or zipper back on most, if not all, of their gowns- check to see if the Disney dresses fall under this category.
