Type of Cuffs for Groomsmen??? Help!

Hi Ladies,

Our wedding is in two months (eek!) and I'm finally able to get to the details of our big event. Right now I'm trying to get all the groomsmen in order. I have the groom in a slim fit white poplin dress shirt with french cuffs (which will require cufflinks).

What kind of cuffs should the groomsmen's dress shirt have?? The same as the groom?

I just find that a regular cuff would be easier for the groomsmen to re-wear, but I want everything to be just right.

Advice/comments please.

Thank you!

Are they renting tuxes or suits? Could you just let them pick out a white dress shirt so they can pick one that fits them and their body style? Or can they just wear one they already have?

If they are wearing vests, then so little of the shirt will be showing, it's not something anyone will notice if they aren't exactly the same. Any shirt is fine.

  • Regular cuffs on the groomsmen are fine.  I would only do French cuffs if you plan to gift the groomsmen with special cufflinks.
  • Thanks all! It's best they be able to re-wear something with ease, so they won't need french cuffs at all. :) Thanks for easing my worries...so many little details!!
