I wore spanx -- the super-high-waisted kind that are shorts on the botton. They went to just underneath my boobs.  I didn't wear a bra, instead I had cups sewn in (any bra would have shown, and I'm smal enough it didn't matter).

For your dress I suggest you get cups sewn in and forgo a bra just because the back of your dress dips low.  I definitely don't think you are big enough in the ta-ta area that a bra is really necessary.

As for the bottom, it depends on how comfortable you are with your figure.  If you want to slim yourself and smooth out any lumps and bumps (like a lot of brides do) then try on some spanx, but I also think a simple pair of underwear would be fine as well.

I would recommend having cups sewn in.  Im having it done, and I am larger than you, so you would be supported.  My dress is a similar shape to yours but its lace, and I am wearing spanx just to hold everything in.  I will have a change on hand just in case I want to get of the spanx later on in the day.  Its totally up to you and what you feel comfortable in.

have cubs sewn in - and if you don't feel like wearing spanx because it's hard enough to go the bathroom in a gown anyway - try a cosabella thong - there's seamless mesh one that looks and feels like nothing

I also have my cups sewn in - the only thing I'll be wearing under my dress on Saturday are panties & heels =]

I'm wearing a longline bra - and my dress is strapless and dips as low as yours in the back. My seamstress prefers them over cups sewn in. (it sounds like we're the same cup size, if that helps any)

good luck in choosing :) I'm sure many choices would work well.

to add - if your dress is REALLY light, a bra/longline bra might show - seam wise or if there's boning in the longline... so maybe cups would be a better option for you. (I'm wearing lace, but there are many layers, so no seams/boning is seen from my longline)
