My wedding is on Saturday, March 26th. The last Saturday of the "off season" for my venue. With March being a funny month in New England we are unsure as to what the weather could be like. March in New England can either be 70 and sunny, humid and rainy or cold and snowy. Naturally we're hoping for the first, but know that may be the case and so I've been preparing for the worst to be on the safe side.
So, I was wondering what you girls thought about a bride wearing a faux fur white wrap at a March wedding. I figured I should have a wrap just in case it ends up being colder, but will it be out of place so close to spring? Is it a fashion mistake?
Why faux fur? The wedding is 40's vintage and I couldn't think of anything else that would fit that era and my dress better than that kind of wrap, but I know it can scream winter wedding.
