Has anyone had any issues with their dress zippers? I have had two zippers replaced on my dress (its a side zip) because the original and first replacement zipper both got stuck and subsequently split when trying to pull it down. The seamstress swears its not my size nor is it the dress itself, but truly just the zippers. I get the dress tomorrow (with the 3rd zipper) and am worried about trying it on and then taking it off, and also worried about it for the day of (particularly the first dance since we have some moves that I'm worried would cause it to potentially split).
I know if worst comes to worst, I can have my mom sew me into it the day of, but is anyone else experiencing this? Its Bliss by Monique Llhuillier, so I'm somewhat taken aback by it. I'd expected more from such a well-known designer.
