Just FYI if you decide you want a sweetheart neckline on the Casablanca you can request that when you order the dress. 

I'm a "normal" girl, about a street size 12 and short (5'2") and I've tried on the Casablanca gown (I ended up with a completely different Allure gown)  I liked the Casablanca gown but it didn't have enough substance to it so to speak for me.  I felt like the material didn't hide my belly flaws as well as something a little thicker did.  It was one of my "top 2" dresses though before trying on. 

Just FYI if you haven't tried on then go do it.  I ended up with Allure 8904, check it out, TOTALLY different from this one. lol

Based on the model photos, I am slightly more partial to #1, but I do prefer a sweetheart neckline.  Hard to say for sure without photos of you wearing it!

Thanks. I have tried both on and still can't decide. I definitely am mixed. I am 5'2 and about a size 4 in real life, so I guess I worry the first one has "too much" detail for someone my size....I  like that it looks "different' but am worried people will think it looks TOO different...If that makes sense.......I took a pic of me wearing the 2nd one and the pic just made the dress look soo cheap which worried me.......

I love the second one.  You said you have tried both of them on -- did you get pictures of you in both of the gowns?  If so, posting those would be immensely helpful in us giving you our honest feedback.

I like the first one, maybe you can ask them to change the neckline tobe sweetheart, it will make the dress more elegant. I am a designer, trust me.

Based on just the dress alone I like the first one better, but I also can't see the bottom or back which could change that decision. I love the details. I think it's pictured in the champagne so if you ordered in ivory or white it would probably look a little less "different." But really it depends on how it looks on you, as pps have said.

They are both different styles and accomplish different 'looks'.. completely your style preference. I personally like the shape of the second one more, being small too I prefer a more fitted style, but I love the romantic feel of the first one. I don't think the amount of applique detail really matters on your size and certainly dont think the lace is too much. 
 
But DONT choose your dress based on what you are afraid other people will think, if you want something unique and different go with it! If you aren't in love with either, keep looking for a dress that incorporates the elements in each that you like.

I ended up buying the FIRST one and making it into a sweetheart neckline (thanks for the idea)....................I AM going for "romantic" as my theme is french themed so I felt it fit in well
