Finding a Wedding Band

So, I am engaged, and my ring is a lovely vintage ring from the 1930s that we found in a lovely little antique shop. However, finding a band is proving hard. We have a budget of trying to not go over the price of the engagement ring ($600) but the groom doesn't feel comfortable with going over $250 or $300. But, it's nearly impossible to find anything. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to look? Websites would be awesome. We have looked on Etsy.

[QUOTE]Do you feel like you have to have a wedding band?  I think your ring looks gorgeous as is.  I had planned to wear my grandmother's wedding band from 1927 with my E ring, but they won't sit flush and after doing some reading up on E rings and wedding bands, it's actually not uncommon to not do one or the other or to wear them on separate hands.  I'm leaning towards wearing my E ring on my left hand and my grandmother's ring on my right.  Just something to think about.

I thought about it a bit, but I really have wanted to do my band and ring on the same finger. I know that it won't be perfectly flush, but it still is something I have wanted to do.
  • I got my ring from this Etsy shop and it was about $400 I think, a plain pipe-cut band in 18K white gold. If you message them what you want and your budget, he can advise, and I think his prices seem pretty reasonable given the price of metals these days. They do lots of different finishes, any size, etc so you get exactly what you want.

  • Bluenile.com has reasonable prices and a large selection of bands
