Tights or no tights for flower girls?

I have 4 flower girls, the dresses are long (down to ankle) my wedding is late april.  i originally thought no tights... but then one of the mothers said, yes, tights will look good... another mother said no... and i'm still waiting to hear from the one more. i am finding i don't want to make this decision!  i don't have a little girl, so i don't know what will be best, and i cannot seem to picture in my head which will look better.  The pros seem to be that in case the dreses are a bit different in length due to the different heights of the girls, the tights miight make this less obvoius. the cons seem to be that the girls could get hot wearing them.   this is such a small detail in the scheme of things, but i can't seem to get a agreed upon answer from the mothers, so i think i have to decide. Does anyone have any recommendation or opinions?   THANK YOU!!

I'd say let the mothers decide for their daughters individually. It won't be a huge deal if some are wearing them and some aren't.

I am with Bunni.  Let the Mother's decide whether or not they want their children to wear tights.

Ditto for my mother.  I was an active kid, and always doing something that would flash people if it wasn't for the tights.

She still asks if I'm going to put stocking on or not! I have to always say people don't really wear stockings like that any more mom! She is on me about wearing them under my dress! I'm like MA i'm most likely going to have open toe shoes how am I going to wear stocking!!!

I agree with PP because mothers know their children best. But if I were you I'd decide on a color. My mom is stuck in a period of white tights with everything even when they don't look the greatest. Do you want them to have some sort of design, plain, shear? Just specify what kind of tights if the mothers prefer their daughter to wear them. You'd be surprised at the decisions people will make without any guidance.
