Hair suggestions

The back of my dress is entirely lace. I'm looking for suggestions for my hair, I'd like to wear it off to the side, I've never liked those big flower pins that people wear for a hairdo like this but everyime I go to my bridal salon they keep pushing them at me. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm desperate :S

PS /> I won't be wearing a veil. and have VERY thick hair

How about an ornate comb?  I'm assuming it's not a side ponytail?

I agree about Etsy, or you can haircomesthebride.com.  They have lots of combs to choose from as well.

Or you could do a low side ponytail with nothing in your hair, and let the dress steal the show

PS  Totally on the same page with big hair flowers.  They're pretty for some people, but it doesn't appeal to me either.
