Bridesmaid shopping has been a nightmare!
I bought my (bride's) dress online and it was quick and easy. I thought BM shopping would be just as simple.
I love Anthropologie and so ordered the beriboned dress in yellow, loved the dress, but the girls hated the color. We returned those and they all decided red would complement their skin tones better (our color palette is fall colors: yellow, red, orange, brown, gray). So we ordered what looked to be the red dress on BHLDN, but it was pink! grrr...
2/3 girls want to go to a bridal salon to try dresses on. My problem with most salons is that they are overpriced and have tacky, cheap fabric for dresses they'll never wear again. my MOH doesn't think she can afford a bridal salon...
However, I found a beautiful dress from J.Crew online and had them send a sample swatch of their silk tricotine "vintage burgandy" fabric, and it is beautiful and the perfect color.
Should I give online shopping one more chance or just go to a salon?
