Help, Mother's Attire

My bridesmhaids are wearing chocolate brown dresses with ivory trim and guys are wearing  a tan brown suit. What color should the mother of bride and mother of the groom wear? Thanks.

Whatever color they want.  Its okay.  That "rule" that they have to kind of but not really match the bridal party has died.  They should wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

The moms don't have to match the wedding colors at all. They should just wear something that looks nice and that they are comfortable in. Our colors are eggplant and light blue, MOG is wearing spring green and my mom is wearing lavender.

MOB and MOG are not part of the WP, so they can wear whatever they want. My BM's wore purple and aqua and both mothers wore a different shade of purple dress. The pics turned out just fine.

whatever they want. my colors are pink and green and my mom is wearing chocolate brown (its a great color on her) and FI's mom is wearing black....because shes comfortable in that. soooooooo if someone wants to go all 'technical' on me the moms are clashing! haha! i dont see it that way, nor do I care. its whatever they both love and feeling comfortable in.

Whatever they love and feel beautiful and comfortable in.  As pp said:  they are not part of the WP and don't have to "match".

As long as my mother is not wearing the "old people tropical print" look, I'm pretty cool about what she's wearing. She unfortunately likes those prints, so I'm having to steer her away from those
