I need help.
Originally the wedding party was going to be my Man of Honor and 2 Bridesmaids and my fiance's Best Man, 1 Groomsman, and 1 Groomslady.
Originally we asked everyone to be in the WP back in October. The Groomslady declined because (I'll try to be brief):
FI is from Miami. Groomslady still lives in Miami. Groomslady remains close friends with FI's high school/early-college-years sweetheart in Miami.
High school sweetheart heard that she was not going to be invited to the wedding. She also heard that her close friend was going be in the WP. She freaked out.
Groomslady declined to be in the WP to preserve her friendship with high school sweetheart.
That brings us up to speed. A few weeks ago, the Groomslady had a change of heart and asked if she could still be in the wedding and we were thrilled to have her back. But the only problem was that because there were only 2 other females in the WP, we decided to just go buy dresses at a department store rather than going through an actual bridesmaid dress/special occasion designer. We did that in January.
And now the dress is sold out. They have it in size large, but not in medium or small (she needs a small). So my question is, what should I do? Has anyone seen anything that might complement this dress? The color is really unique. I want to avoid black if at all possible because the guys are wearing tan suits and it's an outdoor, spring wedding.
There are no other accent colors in the wedding besides white (which, clearly, is not an option for a girl in the WP)....I am just sort of at a loss. Has anyone seen something out there that looks interesting? Maybe a complementary shade of blue?
