XP - Romantic Gowns in Pensicola, FL

Can anyone tell me about Romantic Gowns? They are supposedly a warehouse, online only.

I told them I would like to try on this dress at a local salon first:

I gave them several addresses but they keep telling me that the salons says no. If I knew who makes this dress it might be easier for me to shop.

This is the address I found on their website, but I wonder if it just one of those places that has a bunch of boxes to shove the mail in.

They probably can't have you try it on at a local salon because the dress is so inexpensive and any salon would not be making any money off your buying it from this company (i.e. any commission or whatnot).  Also they probably have no relationships with any brick and mortar salons.  That is the risk you take when you buy a gown on the internet, but part of the reason they can offer you such low prices.  It's also possible that it is a chinese website and the items are shipping from overseas, though the english on the site seems okay (often knock off sites are filled with poor english).  

That is a very simple gown--could you find something like it at a david's bridal so you could try it on before buying?

A dress that simple...I would look for a good seamstress and have it made, you probably won't pay much if much more at all then they are listing on that website.

The only dress in my wedding I ordered online was flower girl dresses...and they were fine for a one day wear dress (and came from an American company), be very careful ordering any dress online from an unknown site.  Might even consider looking on etsy to find a dress maker if you can't find one locally.

The address is in FL so I don't THINK that this is a Chinese knockoff.

As for David's, if I could find something similiar to the dress I like, I would consider it in a heartbeat!

I have posted this in the Florida - Central board, but I am not familiar where exactly Pensicola is.
