THE DRESS IS IN! And I'm nervous!

Hello Ladies,

I just got the call today that my dress is in! I am scheduled fot my first fitting on Saturday and I am nervous!?! Has anyone else experienced this? Honestly, I am worried about it not fitting! I haven't gained any weight, but I haven't lost any either. But I am still nervous, like what if the store ordered it a little too small? I am very excited at the same time though. WHen I tried on this dress it was the first time that I looked myself in the mirror and said "wow, I am beautiful" I have always had issues with my weight, but when I put that dress on--I felt like all my insecurities vanished. The sample I tried on was my exact size and I tried on the sample again in Dec or Jan (because I wanted to try on the shoes I bought for the dress) and it fit fine. I think I will feel better when I go to try on my dress. Saturday can't come fast enough!

So excited for you! And it is completely normal to be nervous. I'm nervous and my dress isn't even in yet! Just remind yourself that the dress store ordered the dress in the size that they measured you for and do this all the time. They should be fairly confident of what size they ordered you as long as you haven't gained or lost any weight. 

Enjoy the moment! Make sure to bring all the things you plan to wear under the dress and your shoes and accessories as well so you can see the "big picture"

I got to try on my dress last weekend! It came in super fast, so I still have a few months before I have to start fittings, but it was fun just to put it on. And mine fit perfectly for the most part. They know what they're doing!

Just remember that it's going to feel different than the sample. My crinoline was soooo stiff compared to the one I tried on!

thank you ladies!
i have all the jewlery i plan to wear, i have the shoes-the only thing i didnt get yet was the undergarments bc i thought the dress wasn't shipping til March! However- i do have some Spanx i can bring with me for now. Did you guys buy your undergarments yet? Where did you go?

I haven't, but my fittings won't be until May. Also, I'm getting cups sewn into my dress and refuse to wear spanx because I know I'm going to be super warm already (outside in August...oops). So my only undergarment is underwear which isn't very exciting...

ahhh!! the spanx i have i am not wearing the day of the wedding either-my wedding is in September (Sept. 14 to be exact) and it might still be pretty warm. Even though we are having an indoor reception. I want to look for a nicer undergarment thats more appealing for the wedding night lol bc lets be honest--spanx is helpful but not very..sexy haha
