Need opinions on shoes!

I have seriously bought 7 pairs (and returned 6) of shoes for the wedding so far and am still not happy with the pair I currently have! My FI is only about an inch and a half taller than I am, so I don't want to wear anything too high. He'll be wearing some dress shoes, so it will add a little height to him, but not much. So, I've been struggling with finding shoes that are short, but still bride-like (not too casual). What shoes do you like best out of these ones?
ETA: #2 is out of the running. The website had the wrong heel height and they are actaully 2 1/2". :(

Re: Need opinions on shoes!

  • I <3 #1...but I came within about 2 mouse clicks of buying those exact same shoes so I may be a little biased.
  • I really like #1 too, where have you found all of your shoes?  I am looking for mine right now, and am having no luck.  TIA!

    They are all from www.bridalshoes.com
Most of them are dyeable, which is cool too!
  • i'm honestly not a fan of any of them. but then again i'm a little biased, i'm not really a fan of bridal shoes in general. the only pair i found that i ever liked were kate spade's maggie. i ended up buying a pair of stuart weitzman sandals in purple :)
  • I like 2 and 3 the best, voted for 3.

You don't *have* to wear white/ivory shoes... consider gold and silver as well, or even other colours.

  • I like #1.  #4 would be floppy and noisy while you were walking down the aisle.

  • I like 1 and 2 best, but I really don't like 4 at all.

  • I like #2 & #3 best.
  • Before you worry about this too much, can anyone even see your shoes with your dress on?  My dress was full enough and long enough that you couldn't really even see my shoes while I was walking.  If that is the case, I would stress looking for some comfortable white flats.  You will not have a fun day if your feet are hurting after 30 minutes.

  • I voted for #3 because from what I can see the front part of them look very similar to the shoes that I picked for me wedding. The back is just a strappy back. I got them for $20 at Burlington Coat Factory when the same ones were selling for $70 in the bridal store.

  • I LOVE #3, but that's because that is what I plan to buy.  :)  I also really like #2.  I am doing a low heel on purpose for comfort reasons.  I don't think you need 3" stilettos to look "bridal".  You want something you can wear all day and dance in all night!

I also plan to dye my shoes fuchsia to match the BM dresses.  Fun pop of color!
  • I'm so bummed to hear that #2 has a higher heel! I was going to try them. Thanks for the warning.

Thanks for all the help! The 7 other pairs that I have purchased have all been fun colors, but none of them really seemed to "go" with the style of my dress (lace and kind of vintage-looking...) so I decided to try ivory. Since #2 is too tall (website had wrong info!) I'll either get one 1 or 3... :)
