Full length dress cut to tea length

I am considering having my full length wedding dress cut to tea length, but I need some advice on if you think it would look good.  I want to go for that 50s retro look and love tea length dresses, but couldn't find any that I loved.  I fell in love with the full length dress that I bought and really want to cut it to tea length.  I am scared though because once I do there is no turning back!  Here is a pic of me in the dress:

Let me know if you think it would look good as a tea length dress, opinions would be greatly appreciated!

YES!! I am thinking of doing the same thing, if we have an afternoon ceremony. I LOVE that dress, and I think it'd be even BETTER as a tea length!

I think it's a good idea in theory, but you'll definitely want to ask a seamstress how it would work and what it's going to look like. It's a really cute dress the way it is right now.

I love it. I think it would look great tea-length, but that if you wanted to keep it long, you could still give it a retro vibe with your accessories.

I agree, that I think it would be great as a tea length IF it can be done. Speak with a seamstress thatis very well versed in bridal gowns. Thanks everyone! I am going to talk to my seamstress about it at the fitting and most likely will be doing it!  And LoriAH11, I LOVE that dress.  It is actually the one that inspired me to cut mine short!

Thanks! I tried on about 30 dresses one day and nothing jumped out. I saw this one online and FELL IN LOVE with it. The closest store that carries it is 4 hours away from me, so I'm making the trip in a few weeks to go try it on. If it doesn't turn out to be THE dress, I've decided I'm just wearing jeans, haha.

This one is beautiful. You have no necessary to cut it. Just relax and go on to find a short one. Visit here, maybe helpful.
