Backstory: I saw a pic of a bride that I loved, and wanted her dress badly.

I searched high and low, and the closest I could come up with was still very pretty, though not exact. I loved it and felt like a million bucks (can you tell?).

My bridesmaid who was shopping with me said though it was pretty, it looked like a lot of other dresses she'd seen at weddings, and thought I should stand out. It was also a bit heavy in weight for an outdoor August wedding. The search continued.
I bought this at DB for about $400 less than the Maggie (agove), it was on clearance and it was lovely. However, it wasn't the neckline I wanted and I will have to pay $$ to have a corset put into it. Making a sweetheart neckline would likely make for a little too much showing in the chest area.

I love how it photographs for other brides too:

I don't know if I shopped too soon (a year ahead of time) or if I'm just being a nutbag....or if this is normal.
Is it normal?
