I LOVE the dress but....

Hi! Well I found a dress that I love but I don't like the neckline but I LOVE everything else about it. I just want the neckline a little bit more open. I haven't found a dress that I like even close to how much I love this one and it keeps getting closer and closer to the wedding. Do you think I could alter the neckline so it is a little bit more open?

Wow, what a beautiful dress!  Are you looking to open the neckline up a little bit?   I like it the way it is, but it does look a little conservative in the neckline.  The only way for you to know what can be done to the dress is to take it to a REPUTABLE seamstress and ask what kind of alterations are possible (and she ould do on your timeline).   You'll also want to ask about the cost...lace can get pricey.

I tried the dress on and I love the back of it and majority of the front but I feel too covered on the top. I think it would be the perfect dress it was a little bit more opened.

Because of the scalloped edges, it may be really really hard to alter, no matter how good to seamstres..

Take a picture of the gown before you purchase it to a reputable seamstress and ask if opening the neckline is possible. Also try to get a price estimate. Like one of the previous posts said, lace can get pricey.

Ask your shop if Allure does that? I know Casablanca changes stuff for you when you ask on a particulare dress. You should ask if Allure does that, as well?
