Did I Make a Huge Mistake?

I'm having dress anxiety...the dress is beautiful, style 207 the snow white gown of the AA Disney Collection and now i'm fearing that it doesn't match my venue or season.  I'm getting married in october and i feel its too wintery or summery and my venue is an old mansion which is very vintage which i also feel the gown is not.

i dunno if i should soldier on with it like my mom said or if i should sell it...

this is the dress...

Your dress is beautiful and you look great in it.  I don't see why it wouldn't match your venue and season.. The dress isn't ultra-modern with feathers or something.. .its very elegant.  If you love your dress - I think you should keep it - no one is going to second guess you when you get married in it! :)

I think it's perfect for your season and venue.  Don't overthink it.

Youre getting married in an old mansion. Kind of like an old fairy tale castle. It's perfect. :)

Keep the dress, it's perfect and you love it - like the other girls said, don't over think it (which I know is easier said than done)...no one will be thinking about if it matches a theme or not - and if they are, that's their issue, not yours - it's your day and you will be beautiful! :)

like PPs said - its great!!

if you think about vintage sort of venues - a lot of women in those times wore A line dresses that had petticoats and other underpinnings -- so the shape of the dress is perfect.  it looks like it has some sparkle/lace applique, which is a very classic/timeless look as well. Once you add your other details, plus your girls and flowers and decor - you'll pick up the 'fall' aspect of it ....so the whole thing will fit PERFECTLY.

I think its gorgeous and the flowery detail at the top does give it a vintage vibe, along with the tulle bottom (that is a very vintage-y fabric). If you are happy and feel beautiful in it nothing else matters.

Don't worry about matching your gown to your venue/season, if you love it and feel beautiful that is all that matters.

I once was concerned about having my prom gown match the "Hollywood" theme and even though it was a beautiful and very glamourous dress I absoltely hated it looking back and wish I had gone with my first choice.

Thanks everyone...i think i got freaked out by other vintage style weddings and they all had the lace sheath dress and i began to think that it was too princess-y and too wintery than what i was imagining...but i have looked at the dress with fresh new eyes and i can see it again...the reason why i bought it Smile and i can't wait for my soon to be husband to see itSmile
