Same dress but two very different prices!!

Hi ladies....

Happpy Father's day to all the dad's out there.

i found my dress..the one after searchin long in hard. RK Bridal in Manhattan has it. Its by private label G and is $1345. The thing is...i went on to netbride.com and they can give me the same dress for $696. Thats a significant amount of money in the difference to me! Im Irish, so the tradition in ireland is that the bride pays for all the bridesmaids gowns, shoes accessories etc... and all my bridesmaids are comin from Ireland for th wedding. So thats like $650 im savin there, which could b .

Basically wat im askin is ...is netbride reliable/trustworthy! If i go with them will i b happy?

I would really appreciate all input on this one.

Did you search RK Bridal online?  They also have an online store which should be cheaper than the actual store because you don't have someone helping you with the dress selection.  

And yes, Netbride, RK Bridal, Jay's Bridal, and Pearl's Place are all reputable dealers of all the gowns they sell.

If you call RK Bridal they will price match your netbride price and I believe give you another 5% off.

Netbride and the rest that jagore listed are the ones that I've always heard of as being reputable.  Many of the others are knockoffs from China, but those 4 are authorized sellers for many designers.

I actually just posted almost this exact same question last week. My dress is also Private Label, going for $1300 at the store and for $698 at netbride.com. I did a lot of checking into netbride and they seem legit, although I since found out that they are NOT an authorized dealer for Private Label, so I am questioning where my dress is coming from. They do apparently get some of their gowns from bridal shops that they've networked with, so that must be how they get their Private Label gowns.

Netbride has a great reputation - in all of my extensive searching I didn't find anything negative about them, if that helps at all. Good luck with your decision!

You might consider looking into your credit card policies. The final thing that made me decide to take the plunge was that my credit card offers protection if the product is not what netbride claimed. So if the dress turns out to be a knockoff, they'll refund my money and then go after netbride for the cash.
